Piet Boon® was founded in 1983 by the world renowned Dutch designer and master craftsman of the same name. The international design company has developed to become a global luxury lifestyle brand, with both private and corporate clients in 46 countries around the world.
Piet Boon (1958) came from a construction background to become one of the most high profile Dutch designers. He began his career as a building contractor and as master craftsman, with love for natural materials and signature details. He came to discover that his true vision could not be fully realized unless he took ownership of the total concept. He soon transferred his focus on functionality, comfort, timelessness and durability to his designs. This resulted in a global portfolio of clients and projects.
Diversity and cross-fertilization of ideas has manifested itself in the projects undertaken around the world including private homes, beach villas, hotels, spa/wellness and holiday resorts, restaurants, public spaces, limited edition Land Rovers, boats, and product designs ranging from limited edition water bottles to collaborations with licensee partners in kitchens, wooden floors, doors, door hardware, bathroom fixtures.
